Australia’s must-have lash serum

Are you using a lash serum?
We put so much effort into taking great care of our skin and hair, so why do we neglect our lashes, especially when we expect so much from them? Well, they need some TLC too so they look full, thick, long and healthy. That’s where a lash serum comes in, and EyEnvy is the best in the biz.

What is it?
EyEnvy is a lash serum that promotes lash growth and health, making your natural lashes longer, fuller and thicker. Everyone is different, but people start to see results within four to six weeks. Full results are achieved within three months.

How do I apply it?
Before applying EyEnvy, ensure the eyelid is clean and shake the bottle well. Remove the excess product from the tip of the wand and apply to the skin of the eyelid. It’s recommended to apply the product every morning and waiting a couple of minutes before applying your makeup as normal.

Why the morning and not night?
Studies have shown that when products near the eyes are applied at night, they have an increased chance of sensitivity to the product. The eye’s lacrimal glands are more active in the morning and therefore sensitivity is reduced.

How do I maintain it?
After daily use of EyEnvy for three months, it’s recommended to use the conditioner every other day, or every third day for sensitive eyes.

Can I use it if I have contacts or falsies?
Yes and yes! It’s recommended that you put your contact lenses in approximately 15 minutes after applying EyEnvy to let the product settle in and dry. You can also use EyEnvy with false lashes as the product is applied to the skin, not the lashes, so it won’t interfere with the bond of the glue. But, make sure you wait 48 hours after your refill or full set so the glue has time to adhere well. EyEnvy is great to use alongside false lashes as adding vitamins to the root of your lashes can help strengthen them, stopping the lash from falling prematurely due to the extra weight from the artificial lashes.

How long will the tube last?
A 3.5ml tube of EyEnvy will last up to five months, and a 2.0ml tube will last up to three months.

Where can I buy it?
EyEnvy is only available in spas and salons, so pick some up at Lilac Rose Cosmetic Tattoo.

Note: As it hasn’t been tested in all situations, it’s not recommended for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you have an adverse reaction, discontinue use.

Here's why you need a Lash Lift

Here at Lilac Rose, we believe in enhancing our customers’ natural beauty. There’s nothing subtler, yet makes a bigger difference to the face, than a simple lash lift. It’s a safe procedure that opens the eye, makes the lashes appear longer, more defined, and perfectly curled. Say goodbye to gluggy mascara and lash extensions and hello to a natural, fresh, and youthful look.

What is a lash lift?
A lash lift is essentially a perm for your natural lashes. It’s super low maintenance, lasts six to eight weeks, and only takes about 45 minutes to an hour from start to finish.

What’s the process like?
Every lash lift treatment has a thorough consult to determine the style you would like, and which is best to enhance your natural beauty. The treatment begins with a thorough cleanse of the eye area. Then, sit back and relax as silicone pods are placed onto the eyelids. Your natural lashes are then curled onto a rod above your eye with a safe adhesive to set your lashes in their optimal position. Once the lashes are positioned perfectly, a lifting solution is applied, followed by a setting solution to hold that perfect lash shape in place. Finally, an eyelash tint is applied (if you opt for it) as the tips of eyelashes tend to be lighter and sun-bleached. A tint allows the full length of the lash to be seen.

Voila! Super long, curled, defined and best yet, natural lashes.

Do lash lifts work on any lash or colour?
Absolutely! Your lashes can be short or long. At Lilac Rose, we definitely recommend a lash tint with the treatment as it will define and darken the lashes for that dreamy, desired effect of a soft, natural, effortless appearance.

Ask us about our lash serum while you’re here, because your lashes need love too.

Which brow style is for you?

By now you’re well aware a well-defined set of brows is a beauty must. But, if you’re a victim of gaps caused by the over-tweezing early 2000s, want that Cara Delevingne bushiness or are looking for more definition to enhance your natural beauty, there’s a treatment for you. Find your perfect match out of the three styles below.

1. Feather
Feather brows are surging in popularity as they look ultra-natural, filling out the natural shape of the brow with additional hair strokes. Feather brows are achieved by the beauty technician using a digital machine, with each hairstroke adding volume and definition. At Lilac Rose, the style and colour of the brows are customised especially for each client’s face shape and needs. Best suited for people with dry to normal skin that are looking for a soft, very natural look.

2. Combination
As the name suggests, combination brows are a combination of feather brows and ombre brows. Combination brows begin with fine, individual hair strokes in the front of the brow, blending softly with a mist to shade the arch and tail of the brow. This is for those looking for a well-defined brow that’s also natural. Plus, it’s suitable for all skin types.

3. Ombre Without a doubt the most popular brow on the market today, ombre brows are the new and improved powder brow, leaving you with a perfect makeup powder look that won’t wash off. You’ll be stoked with your ‘just woke up’ brows. Ombre brows are achieved by starting with a soft, gradient colour at the front of the brow that seamlessly blends into a more defined arch and tail. It’s suitable for all skin types and best for those with an active lifestyle. Best of all, it’s super long lasting.

Thinking of a cosmetic tattoo procedure? Learn what is involved here

For those who have never had a cosmetic tattooing procedure before, it may seem a little daunting – we get it. But, we’re here to explain exactly what it is and what it involves so you feel comfortable and confident enhancing the natural beauty of your brows, eyes and lips with this safe, effective and low-maintenance procedure.

img_8999_web.jpg

How does it work?
Put simply, cosmetic tattooing involves putting pigment into the dermal (top) layer of the skin with a pen-like digital machine. The pigment used in the procedure is an iron oxide base, which is safe, non-reactive and sterile.

In the few days following the procedure, the pigment will appear 20 to 30 per cent darker. The colour will lighten and soften in three to 10 days, and at the four-week mark the colour will be representative of the lasting look. After four weeks you’ll pop in for a signature ‘re-touch perfection’ visit to perfect your treatment, making any minor colour or shape adjustments you’d like.

How long does it take?

Cosmetic tattooing normally takes two to three hours, depending on what procedure you’re having done. It may seem like a while, but this is because every care is taken to ensure the very precise work is perfect.

Does it hurt and is it safe?
People’s pain thresholds are different, but at Lilac Rose Cosmetic Tattoo, they use specialised anaesthetics to make the experience as comfortable as possible – some people even fall asleep!

Lilac Rose performs all of its procedures following the strict hygiene and sterilising requirements of Queensland law. All devices used in the process are single use only, and all technicians hold a ‘skin penetration licence.

How long does it last and how do you maintain it?
Most cosmetic tattooing lasts one to three years, depending on several factors including age, exposure to sun, medications, and how the customer looks after their skin i.e. using products containing strong exfoliation and skin bleaching agents will fade the treatment faster.

In addition to your four-week re-touch perfection visit, to maintain the colour intensity of your enhancement, you can revisit for a touch-up every 12 months.

All in all, it’s an easy process, and Lauren at Lilac Rose makes you feel comfortable and confident in every way. Call for a chat and to book a consult today.
